Terms and Conditions
To use a credit card for donations, you are required to agree to the terms. Please read the following instructions carefully and click the "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" button at the bottom of this page. This will take you to the application screen.
- 1. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- 2. Enter [Application Information / Donation Information / Credit Card Information] on the application screen.
- 3. Move to the confirmation screen to check the entered information.
- 4. Complete the donation procedure.
- 1. We handle donations only from individuals here. If you are a corporation or organization, please contact the Alumni and Endowment Management Division, General Affairs Department.
- 2. Please carefully check the amount of money and other details of the application on the confirmation screen.
- 3. After the donation procedure is complete, please check the confirmation e-mail that will be sent to the e-mail address you specified on the application.
We appreciate any amount of donation no matter how large or small. However, due to administrative procedures, we ask that each donation be at least 1,000 yen (or at least 2,000 yen per year for recurring donations).

- 1. Donation is made on the same day you apply.
- 2. Donation can be debited from your account in the same way as for regular credit card use.
- 3. Usually, direct debit starts on the following month or two months after the application. However, it varies depending on the credit card company, so please check your credit card company's terms and conditions.
- 4. "Giving to Kyushu U" will appear on the credit card statement.
- If your donation is unsuccessful, the credit card company may contact you.
Please note that it takes approximately two months from the date of application (payment date) for the donation to be received by Kyushu University.
The receipt date on the receipt will be the donation application date (the date when the donation was made).
However, receipts will only be issued after the credit card payment has been transferred to and confirmed by Kyushu University.
We ensure a high level of security with SSL encrypted communications for the transmission of application information, as well as with the use of dedicated servers for enhanced security.
Kyushu University complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information Held by Incorporated Administrative Agencies, etc. (Act No. 59, 2003) and appropriately manages the personal information of donors in accordance with the Kyushu University Personal Information Management Regulations.
Personal information obtained by Kyushu University through this donation application is handled with the utmost care and will only be used for administrative work and communication related to the Giving to Kyushu U, as well as for the sending of the university's magazine and various information related to public relations and is not used for any other purposes.
Donations from individuals, corporations, or organizations that are identified as antisocial forces, or from individuals, corporations, or organizations that are recognized by the university as a hindrance to education and research, are not accepted. If such donations have already been received, we will return them. Except for the reasons stated above, donations accepted by the University will not be returned.
